Quick Garlic Nuts

1 cup pecans (or walnuts)

1 cup almonds

1 tsp salt

1 Tbl garlic powder

1 Tbl coconut oil


  1. Place the oil in a medium non-stick skillet and heat slowly over medium heat.

  2. Add the nuts, salt, and garlic powder.

  3. Toast the nuts, tossing frequently for about 15-20 minutes.  They should be slightly darker brown than before, and they should also be very fragrant.

  4. Cool completely before enjoying thoroughly.
